No. 1: CENTER RD @ STATE ST, Saginaw Twp
The number one intersection on Saginaw County’s Most Dangerous Intersections list for 2023 saw total crashes at jump more than 50% in 2023, increasing to 38 from 25 in 2022. In 2021 and 2020, there were 35 and 41 motor vehicle accidents, respectively.
In 2023, there were 13 injuries, up from 9 injuries in 2022. In 2021 and 2020, there were 13 and 19 injuries, respectively.
No. 2: BAY RD @ TITTABAWASSEE RD, Kochville Township
The number two intersection on Saginaw County’s Most Dangerous Intersections list for 2023 saw 36 total crashes, an increase from 32 in 2022. In 2021, there were 40 auto accidents, which was a drop from 51 collisions in 2020.
Injuries jumped considerably in 2023, increasing from 1 in 2022 to 8 in 2023. In 2021 and 2020, there were 7 and 2 injuries, respectively.
