No. 1: AIRPORT RD @ BOARDMAN RD, Blackman Twp
Total crashes at this Jackson County intersection rose slightly to 30 in 2023, up from 27 in 2022. In 2021 and 2020, there were 40 and 29 collisions, respectively.
Unfortunately, injuries tripled in 2023, increasing to 9 from 3 in 2022. In 2021 and 2020, there were 3 and 10 injuries, respectively.
No.2: WEST AVE @ W GANSON ST, Jackson
In 2023, total crashes at this intersection were at their highest over the last four years. In 2023, there were 29 total collisions, up from 27 in 2022, 23 in 2021, and 22 in 2020.
Injuries in 2023 remained at 6 – just as in 2022. In 2021 and 2020, there were 7 and 4 injuries, respectively.
